Privacy Policy

Concrete Shelf does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your shelf lives on your device. We don't run a server that holds your books.

Everything. Book titles, authors, ratings, notes, and the dates you logged them. All of it is stored in the app's local storage on your phone and never leaves it.

When you search for a book, the app sends the query you type to Open Library (openlibrary.org), a free public API run by the Internet Archive. The query goes directly from your device to their servers. We do not proxy, log, or see the request.

Open Library has its own privacy policy. We recommend you read it if you're curious.

There's no sign-in, no account, no user ID. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting that phones home with personal data.

Concrete Shelf is safe for all ages. Since we don't collect anything, there's nothing to protect or delete.

If this policy ever changes — for example, if we add an optional sync feature in the future — the new version will be published here and the app will tell you before anything new is collected.
